I honestly couldn't put it down! It's emotional, yet enlightening & inspiring. The writing is vivid, it makes you feel like you're right there with the author through raw emotion. Her experience definitely brings tears but also smiles & laughter. It makes your heart throb from both ache and love. It's a great read!

I’m getting the book in print but couldn’t wait so I got the kindle version as well. Once I started reading I didn’t want to stop. I laughed at Andreas stories about Eddie and his friends, and their relationship, it’s a genuine love story we all wish for. I cried when I read about the loss of Eddie. She is direct in her feelings of happiness, her sadness, depression, outrage, courage and her journey to become herself again. The honesty in her writing keeps you engaged until the last page, she is able to make you feel as if you are there with her. I found myself cheering her on every step she took. I hope she keeps writing in the future whether it’s about her life going forward or ventures into fictional stories. I urge everyone to read this novel, I learned something I hope you do too. A perfect reminder that with strong love, supportive friends, determination, signs from above, and staying true to yourself, it’s possible to remember and cherish the past, while still feeling alive and having the ability to love and laugh. The author opened my eyes, helping me to recognize how words and actions can mean all the difference for a person experiencing a heartbreaking loss. Pure emotion was felt on every page. I laughed, I cried my eyes out, and I was rooting for her every step of the way. This book has inspired me to honor and remember our service men and women and their families. Andrea has written about her journey in such a beautiful way. From the moment you begin the book, all the way to the last word, you will have your eyes filled with tears. Tears of joy, tears of sadness and anger, and finally, tears of happiness again. You will become so captivated by her words, it will feel like you are watching her go through these experiences. And if you think you already know her story, think again - she is so detailed you will undoubtedly learn something new. Even if you haven’t lost someone close to you, I highly recommend reading this as you will learn how to be a better friend to those that have.

From the moment you open this book, you will not want to put it down! Andrea’s story of true love followed by devastating loss will have you in tears, feeling every single emotion she felt. This story has deeply touched my heart. Being an active stage 4 breast cancer patient it helped me to understand that it is ok to go with the emotions and is part of the beauty of self discovery. Andrea, Arash and Eddie have inspired me in so many ways. I cried, laughed and so far has been an amazing therapy for myself.
