10 years is often celebrated as an accomplished milestone. However, when it comes to the death of a loved one, that excitement is nonexistent and is filled with a sense of disbelief. 10 years sounds like an eternity yet it feels like yesterday. On each anniversary of Eddie’s death, I vow to spread joy in honor of him by completing a random act of kindness. We need kindness more than ever before. This year, I decided to donate Novembers proceeds from my memoir purchases to the SGT Edward Bolen scholarship fund.
